Edward Weston was a photographer who dedicated his career to photographing food. But this was not just any food, he took single fruits and vegetables and made them the subject of his photos. This week we were tasked with the same goal, and I decided to use a pineapple, a pepper, and a tomato. Initially I expected this to be easy but it really is not that easy to make a tomato look "different." However, I developed a lot of skills on this project and I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Photography is meant to capture the special moments in a persons life. In this assignment, I represented a day in my life at school and at home. Not only did we take pictures of our friends and family, we also got to create slideshows/movies out of our photos. I was able to develop a new skill like video editing while having fun taking pictures of my activities. Although I cannot upload my slideshow directly, I have attached the link for the video. Enjoy a few pictures from my winter break that were featured in the movie.
